For 2025 Icelandic Golf Champion Dagbjartur Sigurbrandsson, every round is part of something bigger. As he prepared to close his amateur career and take the step into professional golf, recovery became increasingly important. Unbroken became part of his routine, helping him feel ready to train, compete and go again the next day.
From Icelandic Champion to professional golf
2025 marked an important year for Dagbjartur. After becoming Icelandic Golf Champion, he prepared for his final competition as an amateur, representing Golfklúbbur Reykjavíkur at the European Club Trophy.
From there, the next step was professional golf, beginning with the second stage of DP World Tour qualifying in Spain.
It was a significant transition, but also the continuation of years of work to reach this point.
Recovery between rounds
Golf may look very different from high-intensity sports, but tournament play brings its own demands. Success isn't only about performing for one round. Players need to come back and do it again the following day.
That is where recovery matters to Dagbjartur.
“Recovery is incredibly important to be ready for the next day.”
Dagbjartur first started using Unbroken while competing at the European Championships earlier in the summer of 2025 and continued using it as part of his routine.
For him, the difference is about how he feels between rounds and training sessions.
“With Unbroken, I recover faster between rounds and training.”
Ready to go again
Tournament golf requires consistency. One round finishes, recovery begins, and preparation for the next one follows.
For Dagbjartur, Unbroken became part of that cycle at an important point in his career, as he moved from competing at the highest level of Icelandic amateur golf towards the professional game.
“I started using Unbroken at the European Championships and have used it ever since.”
He describes Unbroken as providing natural energy and recovery and recommends it to others as part of an active lifestyle.
But his own experience captures the proposition particularly well: recover from today's round so you're ready to perform again tomorrow.
One round finished. The next one is already waiting.
