In 2025, our partners Lidl-Trek made cycling history, becoming the first team to win the points classification at all three Grand Tours in a single season. We are proud that Unbroken was part of the team's recovery strategy during this extraordinary year.
Always chasing the 1%
The partnership between Unbroken and Lidl-Trek began with Andy Schleck, Tour de France winner and Deputy General Manager of Lidl-Trek.
At the highest level of professional cycling, teams are constantly searching for marginal gains. Small improvements in training, equipment, nutrition and recovery can make a meaningful difference across a long season.
Andy discovered Unbroken and began using it himself when competing in Hyrox. What caught his attention was not simply how he felt. He could see a difference in his recovery data.
“It wasn’t just a feeling. The data was there.”
That experience led Andy to introduce Unbroken to Lidl-Trek's performance team for further evaluation.
“We’re looking for one per cent.”
Following the team's own testing and evaluation, Unbroken became part of Lidl-Trek's recovery strategy and, in 2025, Official Recovery Partner of Lidl-Trek.
Recovery, day after day
The search for small improvements becomes particularly important during a three-week Grand Tour. Riders race day after day, often spending hours on the bike before transfers, hotels and another stage the following morning.
Recovery is not simply something that happens when the racing stops. It is part of preparing for what comes next.
As Lidl-Trek Head of Performance Josu Larrazabal explains:
“Unbroken allows us to keep muscle recovery at the highest level without adding stress on the stomach.”
For a team already operating at the highest level, the smallest details can matter.
“There’s no margin left, so little changes make the real difference. Unbroken is one of those changes.”
Three Grand Tours. Three points jerseys.
The 2025 season became a historic one for Lidl-Trek.

Mads Pedersen began the run at the Giro d'Italia, winning four stages and taking home the Maglia Ciclamino as winner of the points classification.

At the Tour de France, Jonathan Milan followed with two stage victories and the green jersey.

Then Mads completed the sweep at the Vuelta a España, taking the green points jersey and securing a remarkable first in professional cycling.
For the first time, one team had won the points classification at all three Grand Tours in the same season.
THREE GRAND TOURS. THREE POINTS JERSEYS. ONE TEAM.
Proud to be part of the journey
We are incredibly proud to be a partner of Lidl-Trek and to support a performance programme where every detail is questioned, tested and continually improved.

From Andy searching for the next 1%, to Josu and the performance team integrating Unbroken into the team's recovery strategy, the partnership reflects the idea at the heart of Real Time Recovery.
Recover. Be ready. Go again.
Ready for what's next.
